Continuity by rross · 14 Jul 2023
Towards the end of the film, as the neighbors prepare to execute the family, Dwayne intervenes by shooting Mr. Cali before seizing Grace by the throat. While her hands are visibly empty as she grips Dwayne’s arm, a knife suddenly materializes in her hand just before he releases her, only to vanish completely the moment she is let go.

Logic fail by ccaldwell · 06 Oct 2017
When the security system is armed, the barricades are depicted as smooth, one-inch-thick steel panels recessed within the walls, clearly mounted on internal runners. The film creates a severe logical inconsistency during the breach scene: it depicts the panels being ripped out using a simple chain. Given the smooth surface of the steel, there is no viable anchor point for a chain to grip, and the structural integrity required to move a steel slab of that thickness would necessitate industrial-grade machinery. Attempting to rip such a panel out with simple force would realistically cause the entire wall to collapse or the attachment point to shear off immediately, rather than extracting the barrier itself.

As Mary and her neighbor walk back toward her house, a prominent production error occurs in the rear-facing shot. The positioning of the camera relative to the scene's primary lighting causes the shadow of the camera equipment, and likely the operator, to be cast clearly across both characters' backs.
