When Gipsy Danger’s fist slams into the office and the room screeches to a halt, the Newton’s cradle on the desk reacts in a way that just doesn’t hold up. In reality, all the balls should basically swing together in the same direction from the sudden movement, instead of doing that classic “one ball hits, one ball pops out the other side” effect they show in the scene.

Near the end of the movie, Mako swims over to Raleigh’s lifeless-looking pod and opens it up. She takes his helmet off and tries to check his pulse… all while still wearing gloves. lol, honestly, it’s no surprise she assumed he was gone.

In Mako’s flashback, there’s that moment where the scared little girl suddenly stops crying and smiles when Pentecost appears in the Jaeger’s head/cockpit. But it doesn’t really add up Jaegers are around 250 feet tall, and it isn’t even shown kneeling at that point. So realistically, how would she have been able to see him that clearly from the ground?

During Raleigh’s fight with the co-pilot candidates, he disarms one of them. In the next cut, it’s suddenly seen lying on the ground instead of being held.

While Hansen is sitting at the dinner table arguing with Raleigh, he isn’t wearing his baseball cap. In the next shot, after he stands up, the cap is suddenly on his head, even though no moment is shown where he puts it on.

The Kaiju’s EMP is shown taking out every nearby electrical system, even messing with the base. So if that’s the case, how did the helicopters transporting Gypsy just… keep flying without their systems getting wiped? An EMP generates currents in electronics whether they’re switched on or not, so it shouldn’t matter if something is nuclear-powered, solar-powered, or just idle, anything electrical in range would normally be affected.

While the a baby kaiju is born, when it faints, Dr. Newton moves from a very far away position to suddenly much closer one while still curled up on the ground. The same thing happens again the second time the baby Kaiju faints, with his position changing between shots.
