In real life, Edward Teller walked with a permanent and noticeable limp following a 1928 streetcar accident that left his right foot severely mangled. The film ignores this biographical detail entirely, and the actor walks with a completely normal gait throughout all his scenes.

The sequence involving the plutonium test shows Lilli Hornig in three different spots within a few quick cuts. First she is climbing a dirt hill, then she is standing next to George Kistiakowsky near the site, and finally she is back on the hill in the next shot. This back-and-forth placement indicates that the footage was likely pieced together from different takes where her position hadn't been reset or maintained properly.

During the final questioning, Roger Robb speaks his line without his glasses on. When the camera cuts away and then back to him, he is suddenly wearing them. This is a clear continuity mistake where his glasses appear and disappear between different shots.

The strong wind that is clearly visible and audible as Oppenheimer approaches and climbs the tower disappears completely once he reaches the top. This abrupt drop in wind speed creates a jarring inconsistency in the atmosphere of the scene.
